gonna blog about contacts today (:(:(: I remembered the first day i went to get contacts . That was like ... maybe 1 month ago? I sat in the shop in front of the optometrist for like , 1 hour .

And the bloody lenses just can't get in .

So I went home .

Then I tried and tried .

Still can't .

Super demoralised and gave up .

And then , yesterday , which was a Friday , I was sitting in the hall during assembly .

And talking to friends , obviously .

And it suddenly hit me .

Hit me that everyone sitting around me are wearing contacts .

My heart kinda sunk .

I mean , I'm the only one without contact lenses .

Sigh , as Baby had said , " If everyone can , why not you ? "

So I suddenly got driven . Like my engine open liao .

Then I went home and immediately went to KAI JOO OPTICS at Singapore Post Centre(beside paya lebar mrt) just 15minutes walk away from home .

So , yeah .

I particularly like this optometrist , AiLian , in that shop .

Good customer service I must say , hahah .

There was this AUNTY . I went up to her and asked her whether my lens was up the correct side before I put them in .

Yes , a contact lens DO have a correct and wrong side .

If you face the wrong side and put the wrong side into your eye , your eye is gonna BURN .

Painful , yes .

So , yeah .

I don't really know how to differentiate so I asked her .

A normal optometrist like Ailian will help right?

Guess what that aunty said , " Wah you stay in the shop wear contacts for so long still don't know how to see ah? Aiyo , OH MY GOD ! "

zzzzz and her voice is like , her nose blocked kind of irritating voice .

and the way she say OMG is like , DAMNED CHEENAH .

Like those bimbotic kind of "OH MY GOD ! " with your mouth being shaped into an 'O' shape .

And yes , she didn't help me at all .

Bloody bitch .

Anyway , sat there from 5.45 to 7.30 before I got my left contact lens in .

zzz . And sat from 7.30 to 8.15 before I got my right one in .

HOORAY! ^^

And there I whoo-ed and yay-ed and 2 seconds later , Ailian came and said , " Okay you can take them off now " .

Like , WHAT?! Can't you just let me enjoy my precious moment of having my contacts in my eye for a while more?!

But NO .

So i miserably sat down again and stared at the mirror .

Then I tried taking them out . Like , WTF .

You're supposed to like , touch your eyeballs .

Well actually , you're supposed to PINCH 'em .

to get the lenses out .

IT'S SO GORY .

GORE .

gosh .

but anyway , i got them out in a jiffy . Like , ;less than 1minute .

HAHAHAHAHA YAY :D And my eyes were so tired .

Like so many hours HELLO .

what a loser i am ._.

anyway, then went home .

Thanks Baby for pei-ing me in the shop for so long staring at me putting my lenses in .

Shoulda been boring for you .

Sorry and thanks so much for all the words of encouragement(:

wouldn't have done it without you hahahahah .

Oh I suddenly got reminded of something .

Yesterday when I was about to give up , Ailian was like , " How? Really cannot put in ah? okay lor then on your wedding day you wear specs lor ! "

I kinda got quite freaked .

hahaha .

i mean , who wouldnt? :O

This morning , I woke up like , 2hours before my mathematics tuition started and tried on my contacts . Took 45minutes for both eyes .

EH NOT BAD ALREADY OKAY .

Compare yesterday and today .

I hope I can reach the 10minute range after 1 week :D

You know , I'm like freakingly freaked out about the fact that contact lenses can get lost in your eye . Try is never try before lah me . BUT I DONT WANNA TRY HELLO T_T FREAKEHHH!Like if it's too dry and you blink or just roll your eye , it will go into the back of your eye .
And .
yes it hurts .
and you have to blink and roll your eyes like mad to get it out .
And you may even get a damned infection .
Gosh , freaky .
And the sad thing is , you can't rub your eyes .
I mean , everyone enjoys rubbing their eyes right ?
The after-feeling is just so SHIOK .
but yeah , with contacts , you can't .
rah :(

Thanks God I'm able to put my contact lenses in and not waste Daddy's money (:

Forgot to blog about this . I changed from Combi 3B to Combo 4B cos' I very scared I cannot ying fu de lai Pure History lor . It's like , since sec 1 to sec 2 all my common tests and exams I get lower than 55 marks for History . Then it's like , i kena PURE HISTORY . hello , pure history is supposed to be only for people who are GOOD in history plox . sian . so i changed only one subject . PURE HISTORY TO PURE LITERATURE . people asked me why i never put lit in my 3 choices in the first place since my lit not bad , it's cos . I usually get A's for Lit and then suddenly my sec 2 EOYs lit paper get like , c5 . WTF . It kinda demoralised me and make me so scared of upper sec lit that's why i didn't put as my choice . Sigh . Anyways , I GOTTEN MY CHOICE NOW . I appealed two days ago and they still put me in HAHAHAHA :D *happy* . Thank you cedar!<3
